Diode Ring Modulator

The Diode Ring Modulator - named from the fact that is a diode ring and modulates one signal with another. I first saw it in an article in a 1950's issue of "Electronics" magazine. I was under the impression at the time that the article was written by the first person to apply the idea to electronic music.

My Diode Ring Modulator, wired up on proto board. Transformers are 1K center-tapped primary and secondary (Mouser part 42TM018). Diodes are BAT42 Schottkey Diodes (Mouser part 625-BAT42).
