BEHRINGER ARP 2500 SERIES Clones | |
THIS PAGE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION - IT WILL BE FINISHED SOON, I HOPE. This is a page about Behringer's (ARP) 2500 modules. I'll start off with a module by module critical review followed by a guide for using them. These are indeed clones in the sense they are analog and based on the originals. They work off of +/- 12 Volts (Euro format power) instead of the +/- 15 Volts of the originals. They also are SMT instead of through-hole components, but otherwise they are indeed clones. A parts count on the 1004 yielded counts of the number of opamps and transistors equal to the original 1004. |
1003
The 1003 was a dual ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope generator. |
1004
The 1004 was a complicated design using 2 oscillator cores sync'ed to yield saw and triangle waveforms without using waveshaping circuitry. |

The original ARP 2500 Owner's Manual in 3 parts. The second part is all about the switch matrix, and the third part is a description of each module. |
